Pete Farrow

Pete graduated from Leeds University in 1989, studying Electronic Engineering. Following his graduation he joined the BBC at their Bristol studios where he worked in the special projects division.

During my stay at the BBC I worked in a team of two to develop the worlds first underwater broadcast video camera and recorder, to support the BBC series SeaTrek.

Two years after I joined the BBC, I was head hunted into the MoD, to work in a special team requiring video and television skills along with electronic design and computing skills.

From there I joined Cyrix, an American CPU designer. Whilst at Cyrix I worked in the design team for motherboards and Processors for Desktop PCs and servers.

Today I run my own IT consultancy and hosting company with my brother and other family members, and have been supporting Glennie McIntosh and their clients with their IT and hosting requirements for
the past two years.

I'm married to Julie, and have two children. I enjoy many sports activities, which include weightlifting, mountain biking, skiing and running. As a hobby I provide fitness advice and instruction to friends and colleagues who request it, including devising training schemes for them and helping them out in the gym.
