Accessibility

Accessibility is not a minority issue – it is about fairness and good manners, and it benefits everyone.

Where to now?

Level access helps people using wheelchairs but is also a boon for parents with buggies, the elderly and individuals with an injury.

Provision for those with sight issues ensures that signs are easily understood and that your literature is clearly written and plainly laid out.

Accessibility is an enriching experience for everyone, and ensures wider participation and engagement.

Awareness and particpation

Reach Inclusive Arts provides arts opportunities and training for disabled people in Swindon and Wiltshire. It is the only arts and disability organisation covering Swindon and Wiltshire, and works with those with learning disabilities and mental health problems.

Its aim is to bring accessible arts opportunities to young people and adults through an ongoing programme to enhance disability awareness via educational establishments.
