glennie mcintosh: on your wavelength Economic Development

Economic development

Economic development is the accumulation of all the millions of little decisions we make as individuals about whether to buy, to work, to invest, to imagine, to communicate, to build.

Changing the heart rate of our communities

Public and private sector partnerships can help create the environment in which individual enthusiasm and confidence can grow. This results in a healthier local economy on which all our other activities and interests depend.

Our experience of economic development includes:
  • Inward investment marketing campaigns
  • Regeneration programmes to revitalize ecomically stagnant areas. This ranges from run-down dockland sites in our largest cities to Rural Renaissance funded projects to stimulate growth in rural areas.
  • Consultation and communication initiatives to help resolve divisions in communities which can act as a barrier to economic growth
